ALL VBS team members are needed Saturday, July 31 at 3:00 p.m. to prepare the campus for our children on Monday morning.  Station leaders, you are responsible for decorating your own space.  There are loads of decorations available thanks to the generosity of St. James.  If you need specific decorations or props, please call Helen or Debbie before you go shopping as we may have just what you need.

Vacation Bible School has been scheduled for August 2-6 from 9-12:30.  Student registration form is on the VBS page. Join us for the "High Seas Adventure!"


In appreciation for all teachers at Grace, both active and retired, and in special intercession for those will soon begin teaching a new scholastic year, Sunday, August 8, has been set aside as “Teacher Blessing Sunday.”

The Outreach Ministry will be collecting school supplies that Sunday for area schools in need. A complete list of suggested items is listed in August's Grace Notes.


Baby Signing Time Continues at Grace. New 8-week morning sessions for babies and toddlers up to 36 months (and their parents) will begin August 17, Tuesdays, at 8:45AM and 10:00AM at Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange. Tuition: $84 plus optional materials. Siblings are welcome at no extra charge. Parents' Night Out has changed its name to Kids' Fun Night. Join us on Friday, August 27, from 6-8 p.m.


Grace Church will sponsor a golf tournament for the benefit of South Daytona Elementary School on October 9, at the Daytona Beach Golf Course.


The Outreach Ministry is announcing the 2nd Annual Fun Family Fish Fry on Friday, October 15, 2010. We have booked PT Saverstrom and the Gator Tail Jass Band to entertain us again...so mark your calendar now, and watch for more details in future Grace Notes, TWAG, and Sunday bulletins, and watch for your Outreach members after church services. The proceeds will go to support the Star Homeless Shelter in Daytona Beach.

We are seeking to update our Prayer List of those in our Grace family serving in the military forces. Please contact the parish office if you have someone in the military.  We would also like addresses and/or email addresses.  Thank you.

T-Bag ministry - The ministry can always use your contributions especially juice drinks, applesauce, cheese & crackers, tuna & crackers, and breakfast bars. Thank you.

Lap Robes for Veterans are still being collected—crocheted, knitted, quilted, or bound fleece. The size is 3’ x 4’ - not to exceed 40”x50”.  For more information call Eleanor Scheer or leave them in the Narthex labeled for Eleanor.

ECW Cookbooks are still available for $10.  Look for Eleanor Scheer between services in the Narthex or contact the church office during the week.
