The Adult Sunday School will resume its study of The Promised Land, on Sundays.  Get your juice or coffee and munchies in Graceway Café then join us in St. John's classroom by 9:30 a.m.


Men's Bible Study will meet on Saturday, May 26, at 9 a.m. in the Conference Room.


ECW IS BACK - After a 6-month sabbatical the ECW is reconvening.  The first Meeting is  Saturday, June 2, at 12:00 (noon).  Pack a Brown Bag Lunch-- Beverage & Desert provided.  Please be prompt as Rev. Susan is planning to start off with prayers in the Chapel before Lunch.  Thank you all for your patience.


The Men's Bible Study is sponsoring the Annual Grace Church Night at Jackie Robinson Ball Park on Friday, June 8. The cost is $17.00 per person and includes ticket to the game and a picnic meal at Dustin's Picnic Porch—game time 7:05 pm.

Baby Bottle Project-- You are invited to join the Outreach Committee in
reaching out to young mothers and their babies in our community. In cooperation with the Women’s Resource Center, the Outreach Committee is sponsoring a “baby bottle project” to aid this organization in providing Christian assistance to pregnant women.

Baby bottles (provided by the WRC) can be picked up in the narthex. Just fill the bottles with your spare change and any other contribution and return it to the church at a special altar offering at each Eucharist on Father’s Day, June 17.

Your contribution is tax deductible, and if you fill out the form inside the baby bottle, you will receive a receipt from the Women’s Resource Center. Thank you so much.


SPAGHETTI DINNER – Saturday, June 23 -- 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Proceeds will benefit VBS and Sophie’s Circle. Please call the church office for more information.


Vacation Bible School--will be held this year during the week of July 9-
13,

OTHER NEWS:

Box Tops for Education brings in $.10 each for our schools – Port Orange Elementary and South Daytona Elementary.  A collection box is in the Narthex.  For a list of brands participating, contact the church office.  

T-Bag ministry - Your help is needed in buying crackers/tuna, juice boxes, single applesauce, granola bars, or cheese and crackers.  Monetary donations are appreciated. Checks may be made out to Grace marked T BAGS. Thanks for all your help.

LOOKING FOR SPRING 2012 GRADUATES – Are you or a family member graduating this spring?  Whether it is from middle school, high school, college, graduate school, or other, your Grace family wants to share in your joy.  Please contact the church with the graduate’s name, school and degree or diploma received.

WALK FOR LIFE - Are you interested in losing a few pounds for the summer??  Losing weight has never been easier than the Walk for Life Program.  Carolyn Poe is starting with a 1 mile invigorating Walk off Weight Program.  If you want to walk off the weight this is the program for YOU!!!!!  So put on your Tennis shoes, bring a hand towel and bottle of water and meet with her on Monday June 4th at 9:00 am. in the stage end of Goddard Hall. (Men are invited too) She will hold the sessions Mon--Wed--Friday at the same time each week--9:00 a.m.  If you keep on the program, we will have YOU looking slimmer and feeling great in just 10 walk---LETS GO!!  It’s Fast--It’s Fun--It Works!
